Certified OR/Surgical Techs Travel Position

 

Biron Robertson, LLC is looking for Certified Surgical Techs for 13-week travel assignments across North Carolina. 

 

Biron Robertson is a medical staffing company focused on short term travel assignments. New hires can intend on taking one or multiple assignments with flexible options available for time off between work assignments. 

 

Summary: 

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join the surgical team of a major hospital.   As a vital part of the operating room staff, you will support surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals in delivering safe and efficient surgical care. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

     •            Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies. 

     •            Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and anticipating needs. 

     •            Ensure the sterile field is maintained and adhere to strict infection control practices. 

     •            Verify patient identification, surgical site, and procedure before surgery begins. 

     •            Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after surgery to ensure nothing is retained. 

     •            Clean and sterilize equipment post-procedure and prepare for the next surgery. 

     •            Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room. 

     •            Support a safe and organized surgical environment. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

     •            2 years plus as a Surgical Technologist 

     •            Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and BLS.
