Weekend Emergency Department CT Tech

Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience with CT Procedures including: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction
- Experience with GE & Siemens Scanners
- Experience working in Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU departments
- Trauma experience preferred
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ARRT(R)
- ARRT (CT)

Job Details:
- Daily Caseload: 150-200 Scans; 4 Rooms
- Patient Populations: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics
- Shift: Weekend block (Fri-Sun), 12-hour nights (7:45p-8:15a)
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Call Requirement: None
- Floating Requirement: None
- No weekend RTO for this positions. RTO must be provided at the time of submission
Unit Details:
This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, in addition to Code Stroke and some trauma patients. Very fast paced Emergency Department. On first shift there are typically 4-5 techs. Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs. Third shift there are 2 techs. Weekends we have 3 techs. Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients. Unit uses and EPIC, Visage systems.
