We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICU Travel Nurse to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2
Traveler Experience: Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelers
Locals Accepted
Skills: ICP Monitoring, Ventilator Management, Telemetry
Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
JOB DETAILS:
Staffing Ratios: 2:1; occasionally 3:1
Unit will accept 13 week contracts.
Shift: 12 HOUR NIGHTS
Float Requirement: Yes, to other ICU's and intermediate units.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
Patient Diagnoses: Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit Patients
Special Procedures/Unit Details: This is a 26 bed Neuro and surgical ICU (NSICU) within a comprehensive stroke center that cares for various types of Neurological patients. Ideal candidates will have a significant amount of experience with stroke management, ICP management, seizure management, and critical care patient management including titrating drips and invasive equipment.
Special Equipment: EVD management
Ventilator management
Zoll temperature management/artic sun
PCAs
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
Scheduling Type: Block Scheduling
Orientation: 24 hrs
SCRUBS: Navy Blue or White or a combination of both

Compensation: $1,900.00 - $2,700.00 per week
